Vintage Wedding at the American Sign Museum

Alexander & Cassidy
Valentine’s Day 2025

Alexander and Cassidy had one of the most fun vintage weddings at the American Sign Museum and we can’t wait to share it with you today!

The American Sign Museum provided the perfect backdrop for their vintage inspired far-out celebration. Retro neon signs from the US’s rich history cast a warm, multicolored glow across the reception space, creating an atmosphere that felt both nostalgic and electric. The couple exchanged their vows under the iconic old style movie theater marque, while the buzz of the lights hummed lazily around them. Capturing such a once of a kind vintage wedding at the American Sign Museum was such a source of creativity and joy for me!

When Cassidy walked down the aisle in her show-stopping blush pink wedding gown, the entire American Sign Museum lit up with more than just its characteristic neon glow. The dress, with its flowing bell sleeves and delicate pearl embellishments, perfectly embodied the 1970s romance the couple had envisioned. Each step she took toward Alexander was a testament to their commitment to doing things their own way.

Standing beneath the vintage movie theater sign, Alexander cut a dashing figure in his burgundy velvet suit, complete with a navy silk ascot that would have made Mick Jagger proud. The groom’s ensemble wasn’t just a costume – it was a reflection of his daily style as a vintage clothing lover and his passion for all things retro. The way he looked at Cassidy, with tears welling up in his eyes, showed that some things never go out of style – especially true love.

Their love story is as unique as their wedding day – two old souls who found each other in the modern world. Their wedding was extra special because it was a nod to Alexander’s proposal, which he executed by getting a custom message written on the Taft Theater marquee downtown. As they danced their first dance under the glow of countless neon signs, it was clear that this groovy couple had created a vintage wedding at the American Sign Museum that was totally them – authentic, vibrant, and wonderfully weird.
