Best Indoor Photo Shoot Locations in Cincinnati

As we are headed into the weather at this time of year, I’m sharing the 5 best indoor photo shoot locations in Cincinnati! Each of these locations offers beautiful backdrops, luscious lighting, and plenty of personality. Best of all, each of them has a unique feel, so there is a variety of options to choose from.

#5. Findlay Market – Cincy locals love Findlay Market, Cincinnati’s oldest continuously operating public market. The busy and fun atmosphere reflects the hustle and bustle of historic markets with modern vendors. Located in Over-The-Rhine, just blocks from downtown, Findley Market is open year round. With 50 full-time vendors, Findlay Market has plenty to see and do. The laid back atmosphere fosters relaxed and in-the-moment pictures. Bonus feature – this venue creates a colorful backdrop for your photos with minimal effort! While this venue comes in at #5, it is still one of the BEST indoor photo shoot locations in Cincinnati!

4. Somerset Bar – Somerset Bar is a splendidly fun shoot location! The colors and backdrop are very lush and modern, with a relaxed ambiance. The creator of Somerset Bar, James, has grown up traveling all around the world, collecting art and artifacts from the locals in many different countries. He has brought this tradition to Somerset Bar, and used the handmade items to bring an amazing atmosphere to the bar. The location is so versatile, with the different indoor and outdoor seating areas, as well as the bar. The upbeat patterns, different spaces, and bold colors and patterns give total vacation vibes. Site Fee $250.

3. Music Hall – Who can resist the classic luxury of Cincinnati’s Music Hall? Photos taken here are always epic! The drama of the Gothic Victorian architecture in the open foyers and balconies will scale up your pictures with minimal effort. The wide open spaces allow for fantastic wide angle shots! The wide staircases also allow for several posing options. The many windows allow for plenty of natural light to create the perfect photos. Located in Over-the-Rhine, directly across from Washington Park, this venue brings elegance and timelessness to your shoot.

2. Krohn Conservatory – The Krohn Conservatory is one of my personal favorite spaces in Cincinnati! When the weather is making you want to stay inside, the Krohn brings the outdoors in for you! Located in gorgeous Eden Park, the Krohn Conservatory was built in the art deco style popular during the 1930s, when it was built. This location is warm in the winter, if you want photos without coats and without freezing. There are several different rooms ranging from tropical to desert vibes, for a variety of backdrops. In addition to all of this, there is amazing natural light throughout, due to the abundant greenhouse windows of the building. Site Fee $150.

1. Mercantile Library – My top pick for indoor photos in Cincinnati is the Mercantile Library! This space is great for book enthusiasts, but don’t limit yourself if this isn’t your usual vibe. The Mercantile Library boasts a romantic atmosphere, with the shining antique wood and leather accents. The space is classic, intimate, and opulent. This location offers a variety of settings and backdrops for several different feelings in one location. The number of windows also allows for a lot of natural lighting, so the photos will have that soft natural look. The space is great for a wide variety of photo genres. Site Fee $250.

*An honorable mention on the list of the best indoor photo shoot locations in Cincinnati goes out to Otherworld! Otherworld, located in Columbus, OH, is a super unique venue for photo shoots. While not technically in Cincinnati, it is worth the drive if you are looking for a unique location for your photos! This interactive art display is a fun adventure that you won’t forget. These photos will stand out from more classic backdrops in every way! The wide variety of scenes leads to nearly infinite possibilities. Otherworld gives a space for anyone looking for nontraditional settings for photographs. There are so many options in colors, moods, and dramatic lighting features! This space offers a ton of creative freedom in posing, and style.
